Born 1776, Died 2012

Warning, this is a post regarding Politics, if you don’t like the message, don’t gripe at me, look in the mirror.

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

    • From bondage to spiritual faith
    • From spiritual faith to great courage
    • From courage to liberty
    • From liberty to abundance
    • From abundance to complacency
    • From complacency to apathy
    • From apathy to dependence
    • From dependence back into bondage

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in  St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by:             Obama: 19                    McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by:       Obama: 580,000        McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by:    Obama: 127 million  McCain: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2, McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…”

Olson believes the  United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million invaders called illegal’s – and they vote – then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Of course we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic. Someone should point this out to Obama. Of course we know he and too many others pay little attention to The Constitution. There couldn’t be more at stake than on Nov 6, 2012.

  1. This is an excellent article and right on. It might be added that acceptance of homosexuality is the thing that has been the point at which societies (at least biblically, and I suspect historically) have fallen (or more realistically, have been destroyed by God). This is NOT a hate statement. It is a fact.

  2. Republicans endorse corporate wellfare and Democrats populace wellfare.
End the Fed, End Free Trade, Print your own money, borrow if you have to from your own bank. No election is going to “fix” the financial mess all a result of globalist, imperialist greed. Unelected officals make policy: UN, IMF, WHO
The same companies that endorse Mitt also endorse Obama. Hedging ones bet. It worked for the Bush family. They and Bush/Rothchild/Rockefellers funded the Germans during WWII and at the end of it all the top nazi scientists were smuggled into the US and Canada to continue their experiments. This is one reason why integrative or complimentary health care is getting harder to find. The banksters own everything.
US is now a facsist state not democracy and Canada is following.
    Google Operation Paperclip.

webofdebt.com (excellent exposure of the financial treason perpetrated on the western world) written by a lawyer who d fended a man curing people of cancer. Her name is Ellen Hodgson Brown. There is a great analogy of the Wizzard of OZ which describes the populist movement of 1890. The first march on Washington (Emerald City), follow the yellow brick road….

Please folks, do not get fooled by the left/right paradigm of politics. It is a one party system with 2 heads owned by banks and corporations.

  3. mr cs, i appreciate what you’ve been thru re: morgellons, but your warning statement to me was not nearly enough warning re: what followed, in my opinion, talking smack about obama… apparently, you’re feeling much better re: m symptoms, i promise no disrespect intended, just hoping for helpful suggestions re: brain disfunction and brain inflammation due to morgellons pathogen. sincerely, gayla

  4. and as usual, i left out the comma between the words promise and i,and as usual, i’m not leaving that alone…(part of the illness…that being ocd)

  5. AMEN, and God? Please bless us all on election day!

  6. FOCK!!!! as my three year old grandson told me to say, instead of “oh shoot”,i meant to say between the words promise and no. my bad.

  7. here is who runs the western world, note membership crosses party lines throughout modern history, courtesy of Mr Griffiths author and organizer of freedom force international:

    THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS
So who are the members of the CFR? Let’s start with the
Presidents of the United States. Members of the Council on Foreign Relations
(CFR) include: Herbert Hoover, Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, James
Carter, George Bush Senior, and William Clinton. John F. Kennedy claimed he was a
member, but his name does not appear on former membership lists. So there is confusion on
that one, but he said he was a member. ruling-class and collectivist concepts of the Fabians. Former presidential candidate John
Kerry is also a member as is Vice President Richard Cheney.
Barack Obama is not a member but, as a Senator, he was invited to speak at CFR
meetings. This provided a platform for him to officially endorse CFR policies and it
signaled to the political world that he had CFR approval. Obama campaigned for “change,”
but all that changed were the names of some of the players. Major policies did not change at
all. His appointments included Robert Gates (carried over from the Bush Administration) as
Secretary of Defense, Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary; Janet Napolitano as head of
Homeland Security; Eric Holder as Attorney General, Susan Rice as Ambassador to the UN,
and Paul Volker as head of the newly created Economic Recovery Board. All of these were

All of these people belong to a very exclusive club and no one gets elected without the approval of the Council on Foreign Relations or CFR
    members of the CFR.
Secretaries of State who were CFR members include: Robert Lansing, Frank
Kellogg, Henry Stimpson, Cordell Hull, E.R. Stittinius, George Marshall, Dean Acheson,
John Foster Dulles, Christian Herter, Dean Rusk, William Rogers, Henry Kissinger, Cyrus
Vance, Edmund Muskie, Alexander Haig, George Schultz, James Baker, Lawrence
Eagelberger, Warren Christopher, William Richardson, Madeleine Albright, Colin Powell,
    and Condoleezza Rice.
Secretaries of Defense who were members of the CFR include James Forrestal,
George Marshall, Charles Wilson, Neil McElroy, Robert McNamara, Melvin Laird, Elliot
Richardson, James Schlesinger, Harold Brown, Casper Weinberger, Frank Carlucci, Richard
Cheney, Les Aspin, William Perry, William Cohen, Donald Rumsfeld, and Robert Gates. It
is interesting that Rumsfeld has asked that his name be removed from the current list of CFR
members. However, you will find his name on previous lists.
CIA Directors who were members of the CFR include Walter Smith, William
Colby, Richard Helms, Allen Dulles, John McCone, James Schlesinger, George Bush, Sr.,
Stansfield Turner, William Casey, William Webster, Robert Gates, James Woolsey, John
Deutch, William Studeman, George Tenet, and Porter Goss.
Some of the better known corporations controlled by past or present members of
the CFR include The Atlantic Richfield Oil Co., AT&T, Avon Products, Bechtel
(construction) Group, Boeing Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chevron., Coca Cola and
Pepsi Cola, Consolidated Edison of New York, EXXON, Dow Chemical, du Pont Chemical,

    • Mr. Common Sense said:

The problem is we don’t need conspiracies for America to collapse, the American voters are voting to take money from hard working people and give it to themselves, often simply because they can, the don’t want to work, cause working is damn hard, I work two full time jobs, and all while sick as hell. Why? Because I had to, it is not in my makeup to turn to someone else and demand they take care of me.

So, while everyone posts all kinds of needless conspiracies on this thread the voters will go to the poll and vote for taking money away from the hard working people who don’t deserve it, and “stole” it from the needy.

Forget all these nonsense conspiracies, the fact of the matter is the voters themselves have no concept of freedom, they just have a concept of “free”, only it ain’t free.

The reason I post this is if you have Morgellons and get on government health care you’re screwed, believe me, and they’re next move is to ban natural suppliments, believe me, it is coming.

      • Totally agree with the last paragraph. If you can’t get doctor’s to acknowledge it NOW, just wait!

      • not likely that mr obama will be re-elected, proof once and for all the birth certificate and other documentation is fake, cold case posse forensic team breaks it down in detail, as well as he computer id that it was done on. also roughly 120 sworn afadavits as to his foreign birth and ties to non democratic organizations. no conspiracy, honest. her is the press conference that was filmed yesterday.

So it isn t WE THE PEOPLE its them with the cash

    • Mr. Common Sense said:

Nope, it’s WE THE PEOPLE that are voting, no consipiracies, just uneducated people wanting a free ride until it all comes crashing down, and oh the violence that is coming once the checks stop, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

  9. I’m glad to see you back, Mr. CS. I’ve been here and you hadn’t! Thought you’d given up on the blog! We the people for the most part are WAY more concerned with who’s on Teen Mom or Dancing with the Stars, to concern themselves with the things that really matter in life!
I’m also tired of people thinking Morgellon’s is something that is only in our skin! I’ve seen it in dust, rotted wood, and my dog’s eyes! I also think there is a conspiracy of some kind in place to keep people from knowing the cause of it, but it’s not the aliens, it’s our own government.

  10. Linda Ross said:

Mr. C/S I am glad you spoke up for I have been frustrated for quite awhile with the way our society as a whole has been demoralized. Your foresight in what is coming especially related to those who desperately need medical help should be a wake up call, for the signs have been out there. When Obama first signed his health plan I was in the process of getting my lab work from Great Plains at that time. I had sent in my specimans and paper work just before he signed his health plan but it had not been processed yet.. Then the bill was signed and Great Plains sent me back the paper work and said that Medicare was not going to reimburse them for a couple of tests that before he signed the Health care bill they were covered. I was careful to only have the test that Medicare would cover so they said if I still wanted to have them I would have to pay for them myself. I think it was two tests they felt they would not be reimbursed for. What Obama says his plan is about sounds good but if one does his homework, they would come to the conclusion that we are being sold down the river and be paying for that trip out of our own pocket. For those who don’t pay, they will go down too for we are ALL sinking. lin

  11. It’s very dissapointing that you allowed the comment about gay people to be posted on your blog. The insinuation that God will destroy our society at the point at which Gay people are accepted is absurd.

  12. As much as i like the message being said in this post too bad its not truth:
    http://www.snopes.com/politics/ballot/athenian.asp

    • You are absolutely spot on Mr. C.S.!
I pray you are feeling better!

Socialism/ Marxism is a failure folks. 45 % of us can no longer pull the wagon.
This has been tried in Europe since the 1880’s, failed every time time, failing again.
Frank Marshall Davis taught Obama well, he simply taught him a failing philosophy.
It’s taken a hundred years to pull this country down starting with Teddy Roosevelt, but the loonies have managed to do it .

Snopes is like public ed, it’s indoctrination… yell at me, okay?
Look at who runs Snopes (CREW might be a clue)
Arriannna screwed everybody on HuffPo and walked away a billionaire… she’s a 1%er.
      George Soros… Buehller… anyone?

I am tired of working my ass off for other people to sit around and rescue them, complaining all the while.

Best wishes for all of you, I truly do pray for a resolution to this sick and demented disease. O care will be the worst case scenario for folks like us. The death panels are in the legislation, read all 2700 hundred pages.

I don’t think this is is what our Founder’s intended.

Will continue to follow everyone’s progress and pray for you all, just not from what used to be my beloved home country.

  13. Lest us not so quickly forget that Obama as a senator was one of the Democrats who insisted Morgellons be investigated. Were there ANY republicans who spoke up for us? The CDC failed us and maybe just maybe Obama will see beyond that as well.
I rarely get political but it is certainly not a pretty picture seeing children lose their health care insurance simply because they have an illness. Every U.S. Nursing organization is pro Obama care.
Having excellent medical insurance is not helpful with Morgellons. But it is helpful should something catastrophic happen that requires hospitalization. Personally…I don’t mind paying a little more so that every American can have health insurance. The Canadians are happy with the system.
Lots of complaining going on but where are the ideas for a better plan? Something has to change obviously. I’m not a very polical person and really politics is not a topic I find very interesting …especially on a support forum.
I just think that something has to change because the insurance driven health care is certainly not pro Morgellons by any means.

Cindy I pay 7000 a year for mine and Im contacting my insurance broker to find out what its going to be next year? If you don t have anything you have nothing to loose but if you have worked all your life ,you could loose everthing ! Our president also said he was going to label GMOs and He really didn t do much on morgellons that I ever heard, About 60% of our area is of color and there not saying much. Maybe he can t , maybe hes so restricted in his actions, maybe like a Dr dealing with the Hospital and the rules or the AMA . Well I don t think setting myself on fire would help ,like the monks. It would be great to have some common sense in the mix with all our dealings in life Has really gone over the top . Well just another comment from the peanut in the gallery DC

    • And let us not forget so quickly (no offense intended… I truly respect all)
why the Charles E Holman Foundation is going no where and getting minimal donations. Every US Nursing organization is PRO UNION, that makes them part of the percentage who expects life long benefits, paid for by taxpayers.
We can’t afford that any longer.
The promises made to the Unions in order to buy votes are un fundable.
We cannot afford Obama care either, paid for by taxpayers.
Only 50 % of “American’s” are paying taxes, the other 49% are in the wagon.

I think it’s terrific that you are willing to pay more. Feel free.
Canadians come here to be treated in time to save themselves, as do the Brits, the Saudi’s.

Folks who do not belong to a Union and are fortunate enough to GROSS over 250K per year, who actually NET about 45 % of that gross after paying our federal, state and local taxes, not including state sales tax, gas and road taxes, including property taxes that pay for Union Folks health, dental, retirement and workman’s comp fees, all my local cops, teachers, firemen, nurses, DPW workers, toll takers, highway road workers, jail officers, city municipality workers, trash collectors, water department workers etc. not to mention food stamps, welfare, drug rehab, free tuition to Community Colleges, State Colleges etc…

I could go on for months.

Point being, after that is all over.. we still have to pay our own medical, dental, retirement, disability out of that 45% net.

Nobody takes care of us, we take care of ourselves.

And we are tired of being reviled for 100 years of greed, mismanagement and vote buying with other “people’s money” i.e. TAXES.

How come Congress, their aides and most D.C. workers are exempt from Obamacare and “we” 45% ers have to pay for THAT too ?

At what point are we Entrepreneurs punished enough to the point where we can no longer afford to hire folks, pay taxes and deal with crippling regulations?

      WE ARE THERE!

      • yes we are there and Mitt Romney is not going to save the day nor any democrat. our countries are run by corporations. this is fascism not socialism or capitalism.

      • “Your relentless political posts have finally changed me over to your way of thinking.”

Whats the news on the Holman front on morgellons, Anything we can do to speed things up ? Can we post on other news sites? I googled dangers ofGMOs _____ with a countys name japan, russia, france, germany, Theres a world of studies going on all over the world about GMOs Hope all is well DC

          • DC, I think Cindy was referring to Lamb and MrCS. The Republic died in 1871 when the United States became a corporation. Life for the average person has become more difficult ever since. MrCS, is it right that a man should have to work 2 jobs to care for his family? No conspiracy theory..history

    • It is called “personal responsibility”.
My Dad was a General Practioner, he treated folks for free in the middle of the night, charged his faithful families $11.00 for an Office Visit.

Along came Medicare and Medicaid in June of 1965.

Let Doctor’s compete, hospitals and facilities as well….

You may be surprised, get the effin Lawyers out of the whole deal and Capitalism will work.

I am sorry that you are still unwell.

. I had a kidney stone birth today It was a heller . I survived to capture the beast in a paint strainer. I m goina frame that thing “my child” TOO live another day Hey lamb wonder how much is thats going to cost? I haven t heard any news of the FACUILITY OF 1000 getting any news traction. So we just found out its real We need to catch our breath a get back to work and get this morgellons study in the books so some of us can get insurance, get ssdi coverage. People are loosing homes ,family everything What do we need to do to get this labeled as a real disease? What? DC

  15. Hey DC, Trisha Springstead has copies of a ruling where they won the case so that her client was able to receive disability insurance recognizing Morgellons as debilitating. Even if it may not cover natural remedies at least one would get something to subsist on when unable to work.

  16. What is a “Corporation” ?
    Is it a finite
building not filled with people who want the same things that you do?

Do “they … let’s make it nebulous” not provide paychecks, healthcare, dental insurance etc?

As a small business owner, I cannot agree with you.

We taxpayers provide for you and then we provide for our own.
Don’t tell me your stories, tell me what YOU do to contribute to your own success.. ok?

I too, have had massive kidney stones, breast cancer x2, whatever.

I do what it takes to provide for my family period.

    • ditto. i have never collected welfare in my life. i do not know what you are presuming about me lamb. The corporations that i speak of pay for the politicans to be elected. Their money is in off shore accounts they are multi national corporations who moved the factories out of the us to places like China. GM has 11 massive factories in China.
These are the corporations of which i speak.
I have been a tax payer all of my life starting earlier than most and am now a pensioner whose pension has shrunk as a result of the economic meltdown that by the way started long before Obama. That is why i am neither a democrat or republican – parties should be abolished. no laewyer should be elected to office. life time politicians should also be abolished. America is following in the footsteps of ancient Rome; spread too thin and unable to look after their own while financing over 700 world wide military bases.
