So, you’re a hard working person like myself and your government is blowing money like candy on foolish things, in some cases even on dangerous things. Now, they’re out of money, desperate, and so the politicians shut down the banks, announce they’re going to seize 10% (and much more in some cases) from your personal savings account to help pay for their idiot policies.

Think that can’t happen in todays world? Well it is happening in Cyprus and it’s happening right now. All I can say is Cyprus must be a country where the citizens are not armed. Because when the government shuts down the banking system and announces they’re going to seize your money from your savings account, that’s tyranny by any name.

At that point, it’s time for a new government.

Japanese Admiral Yamamoto, 1941: “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass.”

If you haven’t been following this story I suggest you Google Cyprus and read about it.

they should live in the united states where you pay a tax on your tax and your property is not your own ,just don’t pay your taxes and see!! We pay a tax to leave our state on the sale of your home. //i’m not sure how that works but I read that its in the range of 10%. We in the usa are the most taxed people on earth and still no one is setting there hair on fire YET!!!

  3. They already have! 10 years ago for back taxes. I took care of it but what a wake up!

  4. I am not defending this by any means, so please do not missunderstand. But, they do not charge tax on interest or investment income there. For this reason many wealthy Russians and other foreigners have sent their funds to Cyprus to avoid taxes at home.

The scary thing is that it indicates a new trend in tyranny and how many governments in the western world are as badly in debt just might do the same.

  6. Believe me when I say “this could happen here”. People get so busy trying to survive, and forget we the people need stay involved with our leaders to bring them into reality. They are supposed to represent us. No Budget, keep spending, not held accountable……
Argentina is also taking approx. 56% of pensions for taxes
